| When the
raw tract of land nestled against the coastline and with
the backdrop of the Tararua Ranges was identified, there
was a vision of creating something unique for the Kapiti
Coast. The dream was to offer to a special few an opportunity
to enjoy a lifestyle in a unique environment of quality
and protected open spaces, gardens, lakes and protected
habitat but also time to enjoy the many activities of
living close to the sea. From this vision Tasman Lakes
was born. |
 |
| It will be developed to complement the natural coastal environment with linkages to the beaches and sea from all sections. These pathways not only wander along the coastline but also along the Kowhai streams to the adjoining Kowhai Recreational Reserve offering 16ha of open parkland. There will be extensive planting alone stream banks and around the many lakes which provide a beautiful natural outlook from your home, with shelter and privacy. |
 |
Each section will have a prepared building platform, Power and telephone will be installed to the boundary, while sewage treatment and portable water will be managed on site. Most will enjoy ownership to one of several lakes.
This development has been 5 years in the planning and has achieved a high level of environmental outcomes. The large areas of reserve land, generous lakes and sound design principles make Tasman Lakes a solid investment for your future.
Tasman Lakes is in every respect a very unique and appealing alternative to conventional subdivisions. |

Try your
hands at fishing from the shore. There is an abundance
of fish with the introduction of the Marine Reserve to
the South of Peka Peka which has encouraged the replenishment
of Snapper, Blue Cod and Kahawai around the Kapiti Coast.
Boating is also easy from the beach. You can walk for
miles along the deserted sands. Experience this pristine
coastline in all her moods. Guaranteed to make you feel
alive! |
